Anna Geist is the owner and operator of The GastroLab, a catering and private dining venue, in Sun Valley, Idaho. She serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Middle Fork Lodge, a private retreat on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. Anna attended the Culinary/ Hospitality School of Vienna, Austria. While studying, she became the first female kitchen employee at the city’s famed Hietzinger Braü restaurant. She continued her education at the University Of Las Vegas, Nevada earning a BS in Hotel Management. Anna was an opening team member at the Bellagio resort, working at the Le Cirque and Picasso restaurants. She expanded her property opening experiences by joining The Ritz-Carlton, Battery Park in New York City and later accepted a position as Director of Bars and Lounges at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
