Currently Jordan oversees the hotel’s outlets and catering operation.  Since his arrival he has implemented much change and innovated dining experiences across the property. Previously of the Ritz-Carlton, Toronto where he had made his home since 2014. During his time in Toronto he led the team to several successes across the hotel’s outlets and catering facilities.  He played a pivotal role in the culinary division’s efforts to achieve the coveted Forbes Five Star Rating for the Ritz-Carlton, Toronto two consecutive years. Jordan was a member of the opening team for The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman in 2005 starting as an entry level cook in the Banquet Kitchen.  Jordan is a prime example of a Ritz-Carlton success story by over the years working his way up the ranks in diverse culinary roles in many of the hotel’s acclaimed restaurants.

In 2011 he earned the position of Restaurant Chef at Periwinkle, the resort’s Mediterranean establishment.  A short 10 months later, he earned the position of Chef de Cuisine at Seven, the 4 diamond steakhouse featuring Niman Ranch all natural cuts, overseeing a large operation consisting of breakfast, dinner, Sunday brunch, Bar Jack Restaurant, Pool & Beach food service, airline catering, private chef catering, Cupboard Deli, and 24-hour In-room Dining. It was under Jordan’s culinary guidance that The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman won ‘Best Food’ at Taste of Cayman 2012 for their Local Pumpkin Ravioli and once again in 2013 for their Jerk Maple Glazed Pork Belly.  Jordan, in 2013, was nominated for the Cayman Islands Tourism Association’s Stingray award for Restaurant Manager of the Year and the Marriott International Rising Star Award of Culinary Excellence.
