Paul attended schooling up until middle school in Cayman and then went on to Admiral Farragut Academy in St Petersburg, Florida.
Paul attained his Culinary Arts degree from Johnson Wales University in North Miami and completed his culinary training at the Marriott Waterside Hotel in Tampa Bay, Florida.
After Hurricane Ivan hit the Cayman Islands in 2004, Paul returned to the Island and worked at the Brasserie, and whilst at the Brasserie, he was given the opportunity to cook at the James Beard House.
